The Culinary Arts Certificate is designed to provide ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapps with sufficient skills needed to secure an entry-level position in the restaurant/foods area. Students will gain basic skills in foods, sanitation, nutrition, purchasing, and human resources. Courses in college writing, computers, and math provide basic communication and math skills.

The program is designed to allow the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapp to enter a new profession or acquire college credits with a minimal time investment, as well as provide the opportunity to continue their education if they desire. After completing the Certificate Program, the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapp may transfer into the Hospitality Management Associate Degree Program, and courses with a C or better will be applied toward the degree requirements.
