Sport and Event Management
The Sport and Event Management (SEM) major provides ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapps with a cross-curricular experience by merging coursework from the Sport Business Management degree and the Hospitality Management degree. The SEM program prepares ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapps for careers in event management (virtual, esport, and traditional), sport event management, and facilities management. The program is structured around application-based courses that provide ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapps with hands-on experiences in the sport and event management field as they progress toward their degree.

The minor in business administration is open to non-business majors only. This minor includes eight courses (24 credits) designed to prepare ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapps with general knowledge of the world of business, along with the communication skills and decision-making tools needed to succeed in business.
No minor course may be taken on a pass-fail basis, and ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapps must earn a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the required business courses to meet minor program requirements.
